ISI chief Lieutenant General Ahmed Shuja Pasha met with Pakistani-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz in London to his claims that he helped supply U.S. government a secret memorandum in which the Pakistani government apparently sought American help to avert a possible military takeover, a media monitoring report said in Islamabad on Sunday.
Due to the "sensitivity of the cost" leveled by Mr. Ijaz, including the alleged consent of the note of President Asif Ali Zardari, the highest level of the military leaders of Pakistan decided to first study to be conducted by the ISI chief, The News daily quoted its sources as saying.
